Fence Cleaning on Long Island

Clean white vinyl fence after a Hydro Bros soft wash on Long Island

Green streaks on a white vinyl fence are the fastest way to make a clean yard look neglected. The Hydro Bros fence wash uses a biodegradable cleaning solution that kills algae at the root, then a careful low-pressure rinse so the panels come back bright white without cracking or blown-out joint caps.

What you get with a Hydro Bros fence wash

  • Soft-wash cleaning solution applied panel by panel.
  • Algae and mildew killed at the root, not just rinsed off the surface.
  • Careful low-pressure rinse that protects joint caps and post tops.
  • Both sides washed where access allows.
  • Plants, mulch beds, and landscaping pre-wet and rinsed throughout.
  • Before-and-after photos sent the same day.

Why soft wash, not pressure wash

Vinyl fencing looks bulletproof but older panels and brittle joint caps are exactly what gives out under direct high-pressure water. Crack a panel and you have a replacement project on your hands. Hit a wood fence with a 2,000 PSI wand and you raise the grain on every board.

A soft wash uses a biodegradable cleaning solution that kills the algae and mildew at the root and then rinses clean at low pressure. The fence comes out cleaner and stays cleaner longer, because the green is gone instead of just being temporarily knocked back.

What we wash on every fence

  • White vinyl fence: the most common Long Island fence and the one most often green-streaked.
  • PVC privacy panels: soft wash so the panels do not warp or crack at the joints.
  • Wood fences (cedar, pressure-treated): cleaning solution lifts gray without raising the grain.
  • Aluminum and wrought-iron: degreaser and low-pressure rinse to protect the finish.
  • Post caps and gate hardware: hand-detailed so the trim matches the panels.

The Hydro Bros fence wash process

Every wash starts with a walk along the fence line. We pre-wet the landscaping on both sides, mark any cracked panels or loose post caps, and check whether the back side is accessible. Then the cleaning solution goes on panel by panel, dwells for a few minutes so it can kill the algae, and the panels get a careful low-pressure rinse. Post tops, gate hardware, and trim details get walked by hand.

Most residential fences take one to three hours depending on linear footage and how heavy the green growth is. After the rinse we walk it with you and send a full before-and-after gallery the same day.
