House Wash on Long Island

Clean white vinyl siding after a Hydro Bros house wash on Long Island

Your house should look like the day you closed on it, not like the storm clouds are rolling in. The Hydro Bros house wash is a true soft wash that lifts algae, mildew, dirt, and pollen off your siding without blasting your vinyl, stripping your caulk, or pitting your stucco. One visit, flat rate, and a noticeably brighter house by the end of the afternoon.

What you get with a Hydro Bros house wash

  • Full soft wash of all siding, gutters, soffits, and fascia.
  • Biodegradable cleaning solution applied bottom up, rinsed top down.
  • Algae and mildew killed at the root, not just rinsed off the surface.
  • Plants, shrubs, and landscaping pre-wet and rinsed throughout.
  • Before-and-after photos sent the same day.
  • Flat-rate quote up front, no add-ons at the truck.

Why soft wash, not pressure wash

Almost every house on Long Island is wrapped in vinyl, cedar, or stucco. None of those materials are built to take 2,000 PSI of direct water pressure. Pressure washing vinyl forces water behind the panels, blows out the caulk around your windows, and cracks the brittle vinyl at the corners. Pressure washing stucco pits the surface. Pressure washing cedar raises the grain and strips the paint.

A true soft wash runs around 100 to 500 PSI at the nozzle and lets a biodegradable cleaning solution do the work. The chemistry kills the algae and mildew at the root, and the low-pressure rinse carries it away. Your siding ends up cleaner and stays cleaner longer, because the actual growth is gone.

What we wash on every house

  • Vinyl siding: the most common siding on the Island and the one most often damaged by DIY pressure washing.
  • Stucco: soft wash only. High pressure pits stucco fast.
  • Cedar shake and painted wood: the cleaning solution does the work so the wood grain stays intact.
  • Brick: soft wash protects the mortar joints.
  • Gutters, soffits, and fascia: the parts every other crew skips.
  • Exterior light fixtures and shutters: walked and detailed by hand.

The Hydro Bros house wash process

Every wash starts with a walk-around. We mark anything fragile, pre-wet the landscaping, and check the spigot pressure. Then we mix the cleaning solution to the dilution that matches your siding and the level of growth on it. The solution goes on bottom up, dwells for a few minutes so it can kill the algae and mildew, and rinses top down with low pressure.

After the rinse, we walk the property with you, point out any spots that need a second pass, and send a full before-and-after gallery the same day. The whole visit is usually two to four hours.
